Mother brushing sons teeth

Our dental practice is enrolled in the Adolescent Oral Health Scheme, which provides for free dental care for adolescents aged between 13 and 18 years.

To qualify, you will need to fill in an enrolment form. You do not have to be attending school and even qualify if you are working, as long as you are under 18.

There are certain treatments that don’t qualify as free under this scheme, such as orthodontics and usually wisdom tooth removal.

For children under 13 and not at high school, the only free dental scheme is provided by the school dental service. Many parents prefer for their children of this age to be treated by a dentist. We are happy to provide this service, but do need to charge a fee, though this is often reduced compared to an adult fee.
